ABAP is a programming language designed for customizing and extending SAP software, allowing businesses to tailor functionalities to their specific needs. In other words, it's a tool for building custom features within SAP.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze application issues, troubleshoot problems, and deliver solutions quickly [identify, fix, solve].
- Design, build, test, and implement custom programs, reports, and interfaces based on business needs (translate business needs into technical solutions). This may include experience with SAP Fiori development. [build, test, implement]
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing SAP systems, including bug fixes and enhancements. [maintain, improve]
- Extensive experience in debugging Standard and Custom TCODEs using Watchpoints and Breakpoints. Proficient in Update debugging and JDBG.
- Expertise in DDIC (Domain, Data element, Structure, table, views, Search helps, lock objects).
- Proficient in Module pool programming. Experience in Classical reports, ABAP List Viewer (ALV) Reports, Interactive reports in ALV, and other RICEF concepts.
- Good exposure to Scripts, SMARTFORMS, and BAPI for Sales orders and Vendor Creation.
- Experience in BDC Using Call Transaction and Session Method.
- Good understanding of business processes with Extensive experience working on OO-ABAP and ABAP with OO concepts.
- Good exposure to ODATA and CDS Views. Experience in analyzing client requirements and logical skills for process design, development, and implementation.
- Good knowledge of debugging IDOCs and reprocessing IDOCs.
- Advise on new technologies and how to leverage them to improve SAP functionality.
Client’s Remote Deployment Requirement & Delivery:
- VPN and System access for Offshore Consultant.
- Necessary documentations.
- Dedicated Point of Contact.
- Consultant interview can be arranged if the client insists.
- Access to Data Resources.
- List of Security Protocols.
- 1 week's notice to mobilize resources
Client’s Onsite Deployment Requirement & Delivery:
- Consultant interview within 2 weeks.
- Consultant deployment within 45-60 days.
- Workspace and Equipment to be provided.
- Consultant interview can be arranged if the client insists.
- Necessary documentation and training (If applicable).
- Security clearance (If applicable).
Pricing Information:
Product pricing is for one Consultant/Day (8 hours).
