Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze how a company currently manages shipments and design a more efficient system using SAP TM.
- Set up the software to match the company's needs, like creating freight plans, optimizing routes, and managing transportation costs.
- Train employees how to use the SAP TM system to track shipments, manage documents, and troubleshoot any issues.
- Ensure SAP TM connects smoothly with other SAP systems used for sales, procurement, and inventory for a unified view.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on best practices for using SAP TM to optimize the company's transportation operations and reduce costs.
- Create functional specifications and work with cross-functional teams and development teams to deliver the technical objects.
- Analyze business processes, perform fit-gap analysis as required, and provide ISI business teams with cost-efficient proposals on inefficiencies and risks to determine appropriate process and system design.
- Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications, Conduct unit and Integration testing and regression testing.
- Utilize your in-depth technical knowledge of SAP TM functionality to design comprehensive and scalable solutions that address client requirements.
- Assists in resolving production support problems. Develops and suggests alternative approaches to resolving problems.
Client’s Remote Deployment Requirement & Delivery:
- VPN and System access for Offshore Consultant.
- Necessary documentations.
- Dedicated Point of Contact.
- Consultant interview can be arranged if the client insists.
- Access to Data Resources.
- List of Security Protocols.
- 1 weeks' notice to mobilize resources
Client’s Onsite Deployment Requirement & Delivery:
- Consultant interview within 2 weeks.
- Consultant deployment within 45-60 days.
- Workspace and Equipment to be provided.
- Consultant interview can be arranged if the client insists.
- Necessary documentation and training (If applicable).
- Security clearance (If applicable).
